Samantha Jeandebien, APCC

Associate Professional Clinical Counselor

Associate therapists have completed their academic training for a masters degree and have worked with children and families for several years. In order to sit for their licensing exam, they have to be supervised for approximately 3000 hours after getting their degree. They are currently being supervised by one of our licensed clinicians to obtain these hours and complete this training. Supervision is a collaborative process and your child will have the support of two very capable clinicians.

Background

Samantha’s journey to becoming a therapist began in Omaha, Nebraska, where she grew up as one of five siblings. From an early age, she found herself in a caretaker role, often supporting and looking out for others in her family. That experience shaped her deep empathy, sense of responsibility, and desire to help people feel safe, heard, and supported. Samantha was always curious about emotions and relationships, which led her to study psychology in college and pursue a path in mental health. Along the way, she worked in community-based programs supporting youth and families, where she saw the impact of trauma and the importance of culturally responsive care. These experiences affirmed her calling and inspired her to pursue graduate training in counseling. Today, Samantha brings a blend of lived experience, professional knowledge, and a heartfelt commitment to creating healing spaces for others.
