Tell Me More!

Serving, walking alongside and supporting others has always been a passion of Katy’s. She wants individuals to believe in themselves and their abilities in order to engage in life; to thrive and not merely survive. Being a learner of people and culture, Katy is constantly striving to be the best version of herself in order to bring that out of others.

Before going into the profession of School Counseling and becoming an Associate MFT, Katy worked with a College faith-based Non Profit in the Bay Area as a mentor. Through her experience working with college students, she saw how vital it is to support young people emotionally, socially and mentally. Her work took her overseas to various places and cultures and highlighted the need for cross cultural understanding, empathy and advocacy.

When Katy isn’t working as a High School Counselor or Healthy Mind therapist, she spends time with her family and friends enjoying good food, adventures and baking. She is a Bay Area native who loves to travel and learn about new places, cultures and people.
